Health Care Relocations was chosen by The University of North Carolina to assist with their transition into the new 8-Story Rex Heart and Vascular Tower on the main campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. In preparation for occupancy of the new facility, HCR provided receiving, vendor coordination, assembly, and installation of over 2000 owner-purchased, owner-installed items, as well as IT Rollout. Following this, HCR performed the physical relocation of all furnishings, materials, inventory, equipment, and supplies. Through advanced planning, HCR was able to develop an accurate installation and relocation schedule which resulted in a prompt, complete, and efficient movement of all contents. Once ready for occupancy, HCR also provided the planning and relocation of all patients into the new facility. Lastly, to complete the project, HCR consolidated and disposed of all redundant assets.
