This move involved a total hospital relocation as well as a medical office building. The brand new acute care hospital situated on a 90 acre campus replaced two existing ones The move was executed in 2 phases and required a lot of logistical planning as many outbuildings were involved in both phases.
Phase 1 took place over a week and included much of the offices, Materials Management items, Plant Operations equipment and supplies, and furniture needed to ramp up operations at the new site. Phase 2 occurred in December and involved many departments including ORs.
