Health Care Relocations provided the St. Joseph’s Health Care London and the Victoria Hospital of LHSC with transitional and operational readiness planning. These services included the leadership of the facility’s Patient Move Committee and resulted in the sequencing, scheduling and precise delivery of a patient care oriented move model.  On June 5th, 38 patients from the NICU and Mother/Baby Unit were relocated under the direction of HCR’s management team.

Due to the sensitive nature of the patients being moved, HCR requested and received full cooperation from CP Rail to halt all train traffic that could have potentially crossed the path of the patient move route for the duration of the move and the London Police were also on alert.  All logistics came together for yet another safe, successful and on schedule patient transfer.
