Altru Health System, an affiliate member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, delivers a wide range of healthcare services to residents of northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
In June 2019, Altru Health began construction of a $470 million state-of-the-art hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to replace their existing facility, located on the same site. The new 550,000 ft², 226-bed hospital spans seven floors and includes, a new 16-bed observation unit, a specialized negative pressure unit, an expanded emergency department with additional operating rooms, including a dedicated trauma OR, and a private neonatal intensive care unit.
HCR provided a variety of services to the project in collaboration with the Transition Planning Consultant, CBRE Healthcare Inc., to Altru Health. Services included Activation Planning Assistance and Patient Transfer Planning, Asset Transfer Planning, Physical Relocation of Assets, IT Roll-Out, and Asset Consolidation services.
