Through careful planning and strong leadership, HCR was able to provide a smooth and efficient relocation of patients and contents to the new facility. A total of 119 patients moved from the old inpatient tower to a modernized state of the art hospital which was attached to the old facility. Planning for the relocation of contents and patients began over a year before the patient transfer. HCR developed a move sequence, communicated expectations and mitigated risks to all applicable stakeholders in the hospital. Through the development of departmental move plans with each department and in conjunction with the facility’s activation planning, all aspects of the move were completed in a safe and timely manner.
HCR also provided OFOI (Owner Furnished Owner Install) services which included unpacking, verification and delivery of new hospital assets into the new facility and the consolidation of redundant assets post move.
