Patrick Moriarty founded Health Care Relocations in 1993. Pat recognized the need for a company that specializes in the coordinated planning and physical relocation of the many departments and support services associated with hospitals and other healthcare facilities. There were companies that did planning and companies that performed the physical move but none that married the vast array of specialized planning and physical relocation services required to seamlessly relocate a fully functioning hospital or other healthcare facility. Since formation of the company, increasing demand for this niche service has allowed the company to quickly grow and assemble an impressive management team. Today, the company has offices in Peterborough and Victoria, Canada; Canonsburg, U.S.A.; and Brisbane, Australia. To date, HCR has been involved in the planning and/or relocation of more than 500 healthcare facilities, consisting of thousands of patients and hundreds of millions of square feet.
