The new Hamilton Rehab and ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) building is a three-storey building that is attached to Hamilton General Hospital.  This relocation consolidated rehabilitation and ABI services that were located in 14 different buildings across the city.  The main buildings involved in the relocation came from the Chedoke site and the St. Joseph’s site located on Hamilton Mountain which is about 6 kilometers from the new site. Two separate patient moves from the Chedoke and St. Joe’s sites were carried out on the same day.
