When it was time to start our move, it became obvious to me how experienced HCR was at doing big moves. The relocation of our equipment, furniture and consumables went according to plan and seamlessly from the department’s point of view … I have to say that nothing was ever a problem to any HCR staff member and I gladly say that I think that you guys are the best!
The move was a great success – a result of detailed planning, good communication, collaboration among multiple teams, and most of all, having the right company for the relocation process…HCR really know how a move works in a healthcare environment and they have a system that is very efficient & impressive. WOW I was so very impressed with your company’s ability to manage the absolute magnitude of work the move from three hospitals to this new one was. I was really impressed by the preciseness of the schedule, the coordination of shippers and receivers, and the equipment used to transport was so clean and uniform…On top of everything else you were doing, you remembered people’s names, their location, and had a good idea of where they were going…AWESOME!

From our first meeting, HCR personnel quickly gained the trust and confidence of our staff …I had the privilege of working with Health Care Relocations in 2004 and have also observed their work on two other occasions. As such I was familiar and comfortable with their approach, however moving dementia residents can present unique challenges…HCR staff were professional, helpful and unobtrusive…our dementia residents stayed calm and stress free. In fact, the experience was so great, I’ve hired them again!
It was clear for our initial meeting with HCR that the team was staff and patient focused. That is what made HCR stand out. HCR’s primary focus was not just about moving items. It was about moving the patient care environment. The HCR team was key in managing anxiety of leaving the familiar and arriving at the new. HCR’s knowledge and experience in transporting specialised laboratory equipment was invaluable. The equipment provided to transport items was excellent. The speed and efficiency of the HCR team in moving equipment was exceptional. One aspect worth noting during the move phase was effective communication. Contact was maintained between all relevant parties located across two campuses.
I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient and well organized the HCR team was …the clear communication within the team and us was great. Our educational chemistry labs were scheduled to be moved over a five day period. Through your teams exceptional efforts, work ethics and eagerness the move was completed a day ahead of schedule despite the obstacles that came their way, including no access to the elevators for 1⁄2 day!
