Composed of hundreds of physicians located across numerous clinics throughout the Durham region, the Oshawa Clinic Group is Canada’s largest multi-disciplinary health clinic, providing a variety of non-acute healthcare services to area residents since 1927.
Oshawa Clinic Group’s continued growth required them to expand their services, and in 2021, they began construction on a new four-story, 154,000 ft² facility in Whitby, Ontario, located approximately 20 minutes away, to replace their aging Oshawa Clinic on King Street East, as well as their nearby Sleep Clinic and Oshawa CPAP Solutions retail space.
The new 154,000 ft² Whitby Health Centre provided the additional space they required to offer patients access to a comprehensive array of non-acute healthcare services under one roof, including cardiology, physiotherapy, fertility, men’s health, audiology, psychology, and an Urgent Walk-In Care Center.
HCR provided Asset Move Planning and Physical Relocation Services for the project, which was completed over four separate move phases between June and August of 2024.
