Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec
As part of the Québec Infrastructure Plan 2015-2025, CSSS de Charlevoix (now part of CUISSS de la Capitale-Nationale) constructed a new 375,000 Ft² hospital, and 103-bed Long-Term Care facility.
HCR was brought on board in the beginning stages of this multi-phase project to prepare a Preliminary Transfer Plan and Budget in order to secure government funding.
Once this was successfully completed, Phase 1 of the project began with the construction of a new Long-Term Care Facility located adjacent to the existing hospital. HCR provided operational readiness and facility activation services to prepare for providing patient care in the new facilities. In connection with the transfer into the new Long-Term Care facility, HCR assisted with patient and asset move planning and physical relocation services for residents transferring from both the existing hospital and the existing Pierre-Dupré Long-Term Care Building located a few blocks away. In total, 96 residents were safely moved into the new Long-Term Care Facility.
In 2018 HCR will be returning in support of Phase 2 of the project to provide relocation services for the new hospital once construction is complete.
