Dublin, California, USA
The 220,000 ft² Kaiser Permanente Dublin Medical Office and Cancer Center was constructed to serve the needs of more than 140,000 Kaiser Permanente members in California’s Tri-Valley. This new state-of-the-art facility includes 180,000 ft² of advanced medical care clinics, urgent care clinics and medical offices, as well as a connected 40,000 ft² Radiation and Oncology Center.
HCR was selected to provided Move Planning and Physical Relocation Services for all departments relocating from the existing Ambulatory Surgery Center in Pleasanton, as well as select departments relocating from four other facilities in Martinez, Bishop Ranch, Livermore, and Walnut Creek.
Following months of detailed on-site and off-site planning, HCR developed a detailed relocation sequence that synchronized the needs of all five active facilities. Once this plan was finalized and the new building was ready for occupancy, HCR executed the plan and performed the successful physical relocation of all services into the new Kaiser Permanente Dublin Medical Office and Cancer Center.
This relocation was completed over six consecutive days in May 2019, marking the official opening of the very first Kaiser Permanente 24/7 Urgent Care Department in California.
