HCR provided Activation Planning, Asset and Patient Relocation Planning and Physical Relocation Management services for the project. Phase 1 involved the relocation of various offices. HCR’s customized moving equipment was utilized for the physical relocation, which was planned, managed, and closely overseen by HCR staff over three consecutive days in September 2022. HCR returned two months later to complete Phase 2 of the project, which was executed over five consecutive days in November 2022. The Phase 2 moves involved the relocation of various departments, laboratories, and most importantly, patients. Working closely with facility staff, HCR managed the relocation of all assets that were moving between the three facilities during the first four days of the move. On the final day, HCR carefully coordinated the complicated safe transfer of eighty-two psychiatric patients. Twenty-one patients were transferred from Rigshospitalet to Bispebjerg University Hospital, twenty-seven from Rigshospitalet to Frederiksberg Hospital and thirty-four from the existing Bispebjerg University Hospital to New Psychiatry Bispebjerg, with the patient moves from Rigshospitalet & the existing Bispebjerg University Hospital taking place simultaneously.
