Minor Procedures Centre: 28,000 ft² | 2,600 m²

Outpatient Services Centre: 21,000 ft² | 1,950 m²

North York General Hospital renovated two separate off-site locations to create a new Minor Procedure Centre and a new Outpatient Services Centre. The new Minor Procedure Centre houses the Regional Eye Surgery Centre, Diagnostic Cystoscopy Services, the Gale and Graham Wright Prostate Centre and the Specialized Geriatric Services, as well as a Medical Device Reprocessing Facility and other support spaces. The new Outpatient Services Centre houses Adult Mental Health & Addiction Services, the Diabetes Education Centre, the Centre for Complex Diabetes Care, Ontario Breast Screening Program and the Bone Mineral Densitometry Program.

HCR was responsible for the move planning and physical relocation of furnishings, medical equipment, patient files, IT equipment and staff contents moving into the two new centers from the North York General Hospital and the Branson Ambulatory Care Centre.

This relocation was accomplished in five separate single-day moves that took place in May and June of 2020.
