Trinity Health is a comprehensive healthcare system, based in Minot, North Dakota, that proudly serves the North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Saskatchewan region.
The Trinity Health Replacement Hospital Project involved the construction of a new 6-story, 600,000 ft² / 55,741 m² hospital and 200,000 ft² / 18,580 m² Medical Office Building on Trinity Health’s 43-acre campus, to replace the century old Trinity Health Hospital that was constructed in 1922. The new state-of-the-art hospital features 148 private inpatient beds and 24 ER treatment bays, a Level II Trauma Center and is the region’s tertiary referral hospital, with cardiac, neuro, ortho, and other specialty and surgical services offered around the clock.
HCR provided staff and asset relocation planning and physical relocation services for the project. For months HCR worked closely with the facility and project staff to prepare for, plan, schedule and execute the relocation of thousands of reuse assets that were moving from various departments within the existing hospital to the new facility, including a significant early materials management move. HCR also planned, coordinated and performed the complex relocation of numerous physician practices from ten separate nearby clinics into the new hospital. HCR executed these relocations over a two-week period from late April to Early May 2023.
