Cone Health is a not-for-profit health care network serving people in Alamance, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham and surrounding counties of North Carolina. As one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive health systems, Cone Health operates more than hundred and fifty locations, including five hospitals, six ambulatory care centers, three outpatient surgery centers, ten urgent care centers, one retirement community, and over hundred and twenty physician practices.
As part of their mission to enhance access to high-quality cancer care for the residents of Randolph County & other surrounding rural communities, Cone Health constructed a new Cancer Center on their MedCenter Asheboro campus. This 36,000 ft² / 3,345 m² facility offers advanced radiation and chemotherapy services, as well as other supportive treatments, integrative therapies, and access to clinical research, bringing comprehensive cancer care closer to home for many patients in the region.
HCR was selected to assist Cone Health in outfitting the new Cancer Center, and provided On-Site Receiving, Installation of Owner-Purchased / Owner Installed Items, IT Audit, IT Roll-Out and Software Installation services in support of the project.
