The new chronic continuing care facility was built on the same site as the old building and more than doubled the existing patient population. Planning began about a year in advance and the move was executed in a safe and timely manner with a minimum amount of risk and inconvenience. HCR erected a temporary covered link to protect all 92 patients during their relocation between buildings. At the conclusion of the move, HCR helped consolidate all redundant items.
