The mission of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is to support the residency training programs at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School. Services provided include tooth extractions, treatment of head and neck pathology, orthognathic surgery, dental implants, and bone grafting.
HCR worked in cooperation with WorkPlace Solutions, Inc. to provide Initial Outfitting and Transition services to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during their relocation into the newly constructed 20,000 ft² Dental and Maxillofacial Clinic. HCR provided move planning and physical relocation services for reuse medical equipment, as well as assembly, installation and placement services for new equipment, furniture and supplies required to outfit the facility. HCR also provided post-move consolidation services and grouped, packed, palletized and prepared all redundant items for transfer to Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office.
