Health Care Relocations planned and executed the re-population of the newly renovated Lakeridge Health Facility after a fire a few years previously had forced the distribution of patients to a variety of hospitals. HCR coordinated a total of 4 individual patient moves from 3 different facilities located within a 30 kilometer radius of the new campus – Lakeridge Oshawa, Rouge Valley Centenary and Lakeridge Bowmanville. Patient transfers were scheduled throughout an 8 day period and in total 64 long term patients were relocated.
