Health Care Relocations has been engaged by SJHH to provide planning, managing, coordinating, communicating and relocating services for the transition to the state-of-the art facility that offers seamless integration of medical and mental health care. The completion of this first of three planned phases included the relocation of the Redevelopment & Operational Readiness Departments from the Gateview building. Phase 2 included a large file transfer that required 9 days to execute, the relocation of patient related assets, numerous inpatient & outpatient services as well as the carefully orchestrated and safe transfer of 188 patients.
Departments relocated in Phase 1 & 2 included but not limited to: Redevelopment, Operational Readiness, Health Information Records, Executive Administration, Department of Psychiatry, Beckfield Museum, Computer Training, Human Resources, Mood Disorders Research, Dual Diagnosis, Clinic for Neuropsychology Services, Libraries, Spiritual Care, Chapel, Public Affairs, Volunteer Resources, EVS, Food Services, Schizophrenia Research, Materials Management, Transportation, Central Rehab, Infection Control, Telecom, Patient & Family Support, Pharmacy, Mood Disorders, Dental Services, Finance, Thrift Store, Physiotherapy, Patient Advocacy, Nursing Resource, and Risk Management.
Phase 3 completed the relocation of Out Patient Services from several downtown locations to the new West 5th Campus including the Stay Well Program, Diabetes Clinic, Community Schizophrenia Services, ECT Program, Mental Health Specialty Clinics, The Bariatric Clinic, Psychiatry & Psychiatry Services, Bridge to Recovery Program and Early Intervention Program.
