Regional Directorate of Public Health (DRSP) facilitates access to health and social services and brings together everything related to health in the Montreal region. Their main mission is to improve the health and the well-being of all Montrealers, while reducing inequalities between the various groups of the population.
HCR was selected to provide Move Planning & Physical Relocation services for the offices of the DRSP of Montreal, which were relocated from the Lafontaine Pavilion to the JA DeSève Pavilion at Notre-Dame Hospital.
This move involved the relocation of approximately 200 employees, over 100 filing cabinets containing approximately 1,000 linear feet of file storage, 700 computers, telephones and all contents. In the end, the computer number was reduced to around 300, and to compensate, content was added to the move (plants and extra file cabinets).
To accommodate the needs of the DRSP, HCR performed the relocation over three separate single day moves, one in each of June, July and August of 2021.
