The move from the existing facilities at Plummer Memorial Hospital and Sault Ste. Marie General Hospital was embraced by the project management team at Health Care Relocations along with the unique internal patient move required after the main patient move was completed. After 2 ½ years of careful planning, this complicated, multi phased move involved relocations from two existing sites, three additional buildings and the successful transfer of 175 patients to the new facility. The post move internal patient relocation transferred 12 ALC patients from the General site to the Plummer Site. HCR also provided post move consolidation services to both former sites.
